The State of Alaska released Governor Palin’s emails today. On paper. The New York Times is currently scanning the emails, and putting them online. Tomorrow, the New York Times will no doubt publish a story on Governor Palin’s emails. On paper. And someone, somewhere, will use the New York Times to line the bottom of a bird cage. Ah, the Circle of Life.

There’s sure to be plenty of PalinDrones to bubbling to the surface in the next few days. Stay tuned!

Stephen Colbert took to the airways last night to defend Sarah Palin, pointing out the historical facts about Paul Revere and the bells that were used to warn the British during his famous midnight ride. And, in an effort to put all doubts to rest once and for all, Colbert climbs aboard his trusty steed to demonstrate that it is indeed possible to ring a bell, fire a shot and reload a Revolutionary War-era musket, all while riding a horse.

Sarah Palin appeared with Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday and defended her revisionist history of Paul Revere’s famous midnight ride, claiming to be a victim of “gotcha questions” from journalists.

Sarah Palin may well know her “American History” but thing is, Americans know their history too…
